HSBC Advance - fee for not paying in minimum?

Options
Hey,

I've had my HSBC advance account, not my primary account, for approaching a year now.

I've only just realised that it was £1750 minimum pay in, or £10500 per 6 months.

For the first 6 months it was no problem I just about hit that, but at some point I'd just forgot and been doing standard 1k transfer between accounts.

I've tried searching HSBC site but can't seem to find though, are you charged additional if you fail to pay the minimum in that 6 month period?

I best fire in and out a few k just to be sure though for this 6 month period

No they’ll just downgrade the account to a standard current account

aah ok - that doesn't seem to be an issue then, I never actually did get round to setting up their 5% saver account - I really should look at doing that today I think. Thank you
