Selling cameras and lenses

Are there any specific companies that buy cameras (canon) and a variety of lenses that offer a decent price. I'm dubious of selling on eBay as I don't want to become a victim of, item not received, damaged etc.

I've asked the local camera club.

MPB Photographic and Camera Jungle, though the best price would likely be on Gumtree or similar if they are not too old.

I delivered some expensive cameras and lenses to London Camera Exchange for a friend who lives in France, he was pleased with the deal.
He had been trying to sell them in France for 800€ and only had a couple of silly offers. he got nearly £1000.
