Are there are any Templates for Codicils to remove one Beneficiary from a will ? Thanks DD

    No, but you already have a template to write out a new will. Assuming the current will is not a DIY one you could always copy out the existing one word for word just leaving out the name of the disinherited beneficiary.

    If you think that person might challenge the new will then you should think of getting the new will drawn up by a solisitor.

    A couple of months ago we asked a solicitor to produce a codicil to swap an executor for 2 others. The cost was £90. In the end they actually just did a new will for the same price.

    Sometimes it's safer to use a solicitor however simple it might all seem. Weigh up the estate value against the cost of professional asistance.
    Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.
