I have been notified that somewhere in the midlands by smart parking a ticket hasn't been paid against a car i keep (i read the sticky ;) )

There is a twist the driver paid the 1hr parking charge as they should and displayed it , unfortunately the ticket wasnt kept and was paid by cash as its about 70p.

Letter to keeper says the vehicle was parked for under an hour .

Is the template any use to me in its current form .

    Welcome to the forums Badman4wrd.

Unfortunately you have not yet read enough of the NEWBIES sticky thread. ;)

You need to remove all clues to the driver's identity.
there is no place for the word 'I' when describing events on the day.

Perhaps your second sentence should start something like:
There is a twist the driver paid the 1hr parking charge...
Please review and adjust the rest of your post similarly.

And yes, the template appeal should be sent just as it is. No changes necessary.

that template is a ONE SIZE FITS ALL

no need to even ask, its a given that it is used "as is" for ANY private parking charge ticket

what happened on the day happened to the DRIVER

what happened since that day happened to the KEEPER

there is never the need to use "ME , MYSELF & I" in any sentence

Paying for the ticket needs to be shoved in their somewhere , might not bother with the initial correspondence

    It really doesn't.
It is extremely unlikely that anything you might add will make any difference.
Most first appeals get denied anyway.

Smart will easily be beaten at PoPLA.

What do you mean? You might not appeal at all?
You must appeal. It gets you a PoPLA code where you will win.
