Hi
I was wondering if anyone has had dealings with Mesh Computers. I have just bought a computer from them that doesn't work and they are admitting they may not have tested it prior to being sent out! Their Customer Services are unhelpful.
Does anyone know where to find the CEO's name as I want to complain directly to him instead of speaking to the monkey, I want to speak to the organ grinder!!!
DO NOT BUY FROM MESH COMPUTERS!

You could perhaps try getting the problem solved via: http://forums.hexus.net/forumdisplay.php?f=104
Or if that doesn't work, contact your credit card company start a dispute in order to get your money back then go somewhere else.
FWIW, I've a Mesh computer bought almost a year ago and apart from 2 small problems, there isn't anything major wrong with the system. At the time of purchase, I priced the individual components up with a view to building my own, once I had factored in postage costs buying through Mesh saved me £200 and this was at the time when the Nvidia 7800 was difficult to get hold of, as were the AMDx2 64 4400 chips. They had stock, everybody else was listing 'TBA' or 'stock arriving shortly'.
As long as you can actually get hold of the computer and it matches the spec you purchased, then you can usually solve any problems yourself depending upon your level of experience. If you're not that experienced, then take the system to a local computer shop and have them solve any problems for you. Then ask them to write you a report on what was wrong with the system, you can then use this 'expert opinion' to add weight to any discussions with Mesh. Or to retrieve costs in court if your credit card fails to retrieve them.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -
I will NEVER buy a MESH computer ever again following really bad experience with them. The damn thing just didn't work and their Customer Service help line was wholly inadequate. They had two: one free for new customers and one that existing customers with problems had to pay for to use. Guess which was the only one that ever got answered! They can have all the good prices and gear under the sun, but if they cannot put it together and support it then they shouldn't be in business and they definitely won't be getting my custom again either!0

Thanks your all your help. I took the computer to 2 guys who know a bit about them and they managed to fix it for me. :T
I'm only annoyed because they said the helpdesk operators should have told me to do this when i was on the phone to them!0
