Need some advice please..
My husband wants a divorce and this is a relief - long story(abusive relationship) but I am scared that if we go to see a solicitor I will need to disclose my debts. They are unsecured so not linked to the house (which is soley in my name) and all debts are only in my name...but my husband doesn't know about them. I can afford the repayments alone but having to declare this would be the most horrendous thing. I don't want amy money from him to help pay them off. Is there a requirement on any of the forms to decare all debt, can the solicitors find out? Or can I keep them to myself?
