    Surely if you cannot make the appointment you'd have to rearrange ?

    You can rearrange once, after that you generally treated as failing to attend unless you can argue good reason (and your idea of good reason may differ from the DWP).
    Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
