    I guess zero would be the lowest as a number of people have had upheld complaints but received nothing.

    I recall the story of someone who got about 27p on an endowment complaint years ago. It is rather funny to see these sorts of amounts.

    I’ve seen a few where they’re in the pennies. We used to round up to a tenner just to make it look like we weren’t taking the piss

    Debt free - finally finished paying off £20k + Interest.
  • I'm certain I've recommended several people to frame (rather than cash) their PPI cheque over the last eight years because it was such a pittance.

    Another non-news story, I'm afraid, MSE.
  • At least Lloyds were honest about it.As for the suggestion about postage consider the time someone took searching for and then through the old MBNA records and then arranging for the cheque. Two decades ago, working in the City, we costed out the writing of a simple one page letter and posting it - over £10.
