Am I right in assuming that the only two companies that offer package holidays now are Tui and Jet2 Holidays?
Normal people worry me.

No.

They are the biggest, but there are still a number of mid-size tour operators (i.e. Olympic Holidays, Mercury) and smaller more specialist or destination specific ones.0

There are literally dozens and dozens of companies offering package holidays online and through travel agents.
Remember, travel agents are facilitators of holidays for all these different companies.0 -
you can also book holidays with Easyjet, BA, Virgin0

I use Kuoni or Caribbean Warehouse.0

Most of what the OTAs sell are now packages, but they're often multi contract ones, not single contract. Same Atol protection though.
There are plenty of companies that do sell single contract packages, but they're often more tailor made than the bog standard off the shelf like TUI, Jet2, Easyjet do.0 -
