Internet on / off / on / off .. I am going mad

Since yesterday, my internet connection (Virgin) has been going off then on then off every coupole of minutes

I have W10

As I type this, the wee monitor icon is showing now along the bottom (internet is working) .. oh the World icon now ..no internet, monitor again

If I click it says Network 2

Pause again, while not connected

Reset the router and see if it clears the problem.
Otherwise if its the Virgin Superhub you have, contact Virgin because you don't own it so if it develops a fault they'll replace it.

I tends to turn off the main of the router for couple of minutes and turn back on again in such situation.

need to check its your router by mobile/tablet wifi independently to rule out your laptop is at fault?

If you say 'monitor icon', I guess your computer is using the cable and not the WiFi. If that's the case, the first thing to check is obviously the cable. Try another one if you have it.
