  • I'm disappointed that Amex UK have not implemented credit card freezing. Virgin Money introduced card freezing on their credit cards and I freeze my credit card when it is not being used to give me that extra piece of mind. I simply unfreeze the card in app when I want to use it. I have no such option on my Amex card, unlike our US cousins who apparently do have that option. Anything at all that helps to prevent fraudulent use of cards can only be a positive thing.

    Security flaw is also IMHO over egging it, I had visions of a flaw that allowed the card to be cloned say, not that offline cards keep processing offline after their stolen
