Scottish Power - Accounts Mix-Up
It's not my account (I thankfully ditched SP a month ago). It is however that of a friend.
She showed me her list of accounts (gas & electricity) on her online account.
The first two accounts were hers - then listed below were the accounts of other people. She was actually able to click on those accounts and see all the other customers' account details.
She thought it was amusing until I pointed out that they could probably see her account details too, although I'm pretty sure she doesn't really appreciate what a serious breach of the data protection laws this could be.
SP customers might wish to check that she's not the only one to have access to others' online accounts.

Make sure your friend uses the official SP written complaints procedure to notify them of this breach.0
