Well it seems they've backtracked on the really important bit of getting the final bill sorted out. That appears to be where most of the problem s occurs. Either in the verification between the new supplier and the existing one or lack of process with the existing supplier so they can hang on to your cash for a bit longer.

Scottish power were the worst I've encountered, 10 weeks to issue a final bill.
Even Octopus took ages when they'd taken over from IRESA and I'd transferred away from them although I'm not sure whether that was because Eversmart took their time getting the initial readings sorted out.
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers

It's when people who have signed up to an energy company that offers cash referrals (like Bulb and Octopus) and post their referral link in this forum.

It's considered spam as there is a referral section of the forum especially for referral links, any posted elsewhere on the forums are deleted.

Wonder how this will affect the bungs paid by the likes of Spark to agents who switch properties to them without informing tenants, or how about the case where an owner - posted on this very forum a couple of days ago - had their supplies erroneously grabbed by Spark who are currently refusing to return said supplies to previous supplier?

I am said owner. It's good to see Ofgem stepping up on this issue. At least it seems that, in my case, the issue has been resolved.
