Hi,
I am (was) booked on Jet Airwys LHR-BOM-LHR for holidays (July/Aug 2019). This was via Southall Travels and paid by Mastercard credit card. I only paid £195 per person times four upfront with the rest to be paid 4 weeks before departure.
Southall is saying they are only booking agents and have no further liability. This is Southall's T&Cs - southalltravel [dot] co [dot] uk [slash] terms.aspx. How do I find out if I booked a ATOL protected flight? I have asked Southall!
Southall did offer to apply to Jet Airways for a refund. I have asked them to do so without prejudice.
My annual travel insurance does not cover Scheduled Airline Failure :-(
I need to check with my credit card company on whether I have any recourse via them as the payment was above £100.
Any suggestions?
thanks & regards,

The amount means you will, contact your credit card company.0

I wouldn't feel bad about not having insurance cover Jet
Airways hasn't yet failed in a way that makes it possible to claim.
Is this booked as flights and accommodation with Jet, all information from Jet at the moment is that if booked via an agency then the agency must apply for the refund.
There is a specific process the agency must follow.
Otherwise as said speak to the CC company.0 -
Booking was fligh only with Southall travel. Not directly with Jet Airways. Southall have now send me confimration and reference number for refund application. Is there any time limitation on raising this with the credit card company?0
