Myself & partner are interested in the property below and are unsure on how much to offer. A house in the same street sold for £180k late last year and that property was ready to move into, whereas this will need a little bit of work.
https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-57285366.html
It looks like the seller has already moved on so I can't imagine they will need the money to complete on their new property. It is also worth noting the amount of time the property has been listed for.
All help would be appreciated!

What work needs doing? That property looks almost perfect to me.0

The kitchen & bathroom need to be replaces in my opinion. They are both almost 10yr old.0

Looking at the listing I too can't see much justification for knocking them down on "work that needs doing"
No idea about the area or if the price is competitive in relation to other properties around that area but it looks a good solid type of house to me
Rather than asking the question of how much you should offer, what are you prepared to offer?
A seller will usually have a figure in mind and it then becomes a waiting game to match a sellers expectations to that of a buyer and visa versa
Your offer needs to be realistic although can be less than the asking price.
Judging by its previous sold price I would think they wouldn't sell lower than £180k (but I'm not the vendor)
Its possible from previous sold pictures that they had a go at selling in 2015 and didn't follow through...
How about an opening offer of £182k?
What figure could you go to for the right property?in S 38 T 2 F 50
