    Like so many of these headlines, the change affects very few people. The only people I know who take their pets to Europe are those who own a lovely 2nd home. They aren't really going to be bothered by £100 extra to take their beloved pets.
    Many people like me have not been able to afford a foreign holiday in a decade and our concerns are more of a basic level about the effect of the balls up the politicians have made of brexit negotiations.

    You are probably right that it affects very few people. But what is more important is that a lot of these so called "scare stories" are proving to anything but. This is the sort of thing that will have been dealt with as part of the deal Mrs May made with the EU, and yes no doubt in the event we leave with some other sort of deal, will eventually be sorted out. However, crashing out with no agreement and no time to sort out things like this has some very serious consequences.
