I guess I am the first to post and be affected. Had a flight tomorrow at 6:20am to Copenhagen. Just been cancelled. Norwegian site is a shambles and phone lines are chock a block.Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%

I was there for 8 hrs yesterday. It was grim. I have been rebooked onto a flight tomorrow so i think I’m luckier than some. But, my £70 taxi to gatwick and then £70 return taxi home when my flight was cancelled and i was told to collect my luggage and go home hurt because I’ll have to fork out for the taxi to the airport tomorrow as well. Do you think there’s any chance of me claiming the money back.MS Stalwart. Used site for >10 years :jMake Do, Mend and Minimise member - focussing on upcycling/repurposing and sewing0

Hi I booked a holiday with my wife and a kid to Paris Disneyland. But due to the incidents, we had to cancel the trip as we were not available to go again soon.
Vueling refunded the air ticket costs in full.
Gatwick Airport kindly refunded the pre-paid parking costs in full.
My travel insurance does not cover extraordinary incidents under authority order like this. So I am looking for a better policy next time.
I am still out of pocket for the accommodation booked through Expedia for about GBP 200 and Disney mini tickets (which I am free to use till 30 June 19). Expedia said the accommodation was non-refundable.0
