Voluntary Termination
Can anybody advise with this. I have contacted my finance company and asked how many payments I had left to make to hit half way point of my agreement. I was told 3 more payments. I made these and sent in a letter requesting voluntary termination. The company have now said I was advised wrongly and there is still another payment outstanding. Can I hold them to what they told me or will I have to make this payment? Thanks.

No, the contractual situation stands despite a mistake by a customer services representative.0

Do you not know how much the contract was for, and how much you've paid so far?0
