For those in council tax arrears that are getting payments taken from their income support what happens once your income support stops? Universal credit is another benefit is it interlinked?

Unless DWP have changed the way they work then whether or not they port it over directly is hit and miss - some attachment are transferred, others are ended and need to be set up again.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0

I see it states they DWP or Council do not need your consent or signature to take money from your benefits doesn't that violate the law and human rights?0

what law and what human rights do you think it violates?0
