Very Old PPI

Options
Back in the 80's I had several loans with my bank TSB which I believe had PPI included, however these loans where fully repaid by 1992 and I have never had any loans since also I obviously have no surviving paperwork associated with these loans.
  • Does anyone know if I can still claim for misspelling.
  • Who I should address my claim to? Is it LloydsTSB (however the loans were before the merger with Lloyds Bank), or the new TSB.
I have heard several adverts for PPI claims handlers, is it worth using anybody in particular.

Thanks
FC

DOn't use a claims company. Contact TSB. Chances are there is no paperwork left from 26 years ago so don't hold out any hope.
Shampoo? No thanks, I'll have real poo...

Bit harsh to complain about misspelling, it was 30 years ago :p

PPI was still rare in the eighties, so it's doubtful you had it.
Regardless, with no documentation from your own archive and a long -closed account, your chances are frankly nil.
Remember that you are not "claiming", you are making a complaint about a perceived wrong doing.
