Ryanair luggage allowance confusion

Hi all,

I don't fly very often and am a little confused by what I am allowed to take on a flight I have booked for a couple of weeks time with Ryanair.

I've paid for no extras beyond the basic, but am not sure whether all I'm allowed to take is a small bag that fits under the seat in front and measures 35cm x 20 x 20, OR if I am also allowed to take a bag that goes in the hold and measures a maximum of 55cm x 40 x 20 and weighs 10kg. Or if there's another correct answer that I've completely missed!

The website is trying to push for me to pay for extra luggage allowance and I'm not sure I need it. I think they might be just angling for more cash. Can anyone who uses them regularly confirm how it works?

Thanks!
