Surprised MSE did not take more credit for this

No question, just wished to share information in case it might be useful to someone.

Last week I switched to a new nPower tariff as the old one was due to end at the end of August. I have only just found out this tariff is not actually available from nPower by either phone or internet; it is a "broker" tariff (which went straight past me at the time) available only through third party websites such as this one so thanks very much, MSE. It is a helluva lot more competitive than anything else they have to offer. I was gearing up to brave switching to SSE with all the grief that entails, whatever you say, :money:.

Go, the CEC!

No doubt someone can get way more cash back going via another site but I am a happy bunny. NPower's customer service seems to be getting better too, atm. Maybe it is the nice weather.

It is called the Broker Exclusive Fix July 2019 Elec DD except for the gas part, which is the Broker Exclusive Fix July 2019 Gas DD... Rolls right off the tongue, don't it?

I found it on the CEC but think it must be available via other sites as MSE did not trumpet it as a Collective Fix.

Why should MSE take credit when it is not exclusive to them.

It's available from all energy comparison sites like uswitch and moneysupermarket, it's not hidden and shows up just like any other tariff. Only difference is Npower do not make it available direct through them.

I'm on the Online Broker Fix May 2019.

Because they are so keen to get people switching and because it is not available directly from nPower. Whatever.
