Regarding 'savings' accounts, is Tesco's interest saver the only option regarding the immediate transfer / availability of funds (by Faster Payments)?
I believe others such as Shawbrook, Post Office and AA are all the day following the day of request.

There's the NatWest Savings Builder, but you need to make sure that the account has at least £50 more in it on the penultimate working day of each month than it did on the penultimate working day of the previous monthI consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

Bank of Cyprus do near real time transfersDid you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place0 -
Thanks for the suggestions.
That NW builders looks interesting, but you need to keep on top of it. How long has this account been available. Has it always had a competitive rate?
I suppose it's diminishing returns from 5k onwards?0 -
I believe up to 5k gives you 1.5%, and it lowers from then onwards.
Fairly newish account, I just created mine after seeing my old natwest savings account have lower interest.0 -
If I'm understanding this correctly, I can whack in 5k from the off (which will attract 1.5%) and say top it up by £50 - £75 every month around the 25th, with those smaller amounts attracting 1%)?0
