Cash on Collection confirm payment

Has anyone seen now when you buy an item which is cash on collection, it now appears that you can click cash on collection and the confirm payment button, and in purchase history it shows the payment pending hourglass?
For a minute I though I had done something wrong and sent a PayPal payment.
