Highest children account £50,000

I would like to have instant access of parent's will £50,000 to put in children account.

Lloyds Young Saver is reducing from £20,000 to £5,000 for 2.0% interest rate

Any others better offer?

    Off the top of my head.


    Lloyds 2% on £5000
    Halifax 2% on £10,000 (open two accounts with £500o each)
    Barclays 1.75% on anything up to £1 million
    Metro 1.4%, no mention of maximum balance, with small bonus payment for regular coin deposits


    Without putting too fine a point on it, you're using the children's savings account to earn interest on your own money, right?

    Keep an eye out for the op's forthcoming post, how do I pay the tax due on interest I have earned through my child's account ;)
