Lloyds account upgrade

Received notification that lloyds are upgrading my cash account to a classic account. I haven’t applied for the upgrade so was wondering if anyone else has had similar notification?

Not heard anything in the press about this but it is good news for you - you should now get a contactless card and at some stage in the future they may offer you an overdraft credit card or personal loan.0

I had same letter but I am with bank of scotland. I have had the same cardcash account with them for the past 17 years and each time I have went in over the years they refused me an account upgrade. I do not really use the account anymore but never closed it as had it so long. Wonder what the banks are up to?0
