Royal Mail "We've got your item"

Royal Mail "We've got your item"

Can anyone remind me what is the result of an eBay case for INR when the signed for delivery is stuck at "We've got your item" and not moved for around a week? I should know, but I can't recall.

Seller will lose as cannot prove delivery and in fact the message itself indicates that parcel appears to be mislaid at some point within the system.

I was thinking if the address has been carded (although a proportion of buyers can never find the card), or the item gets delivered after the INR claim has gone through meaning Royal Mail keep their side of the bargain by saying it's not missing until 15 days have passed.

The exact opposite happened, the buyer collected the item after getting a refund.
