There are a few websites now like air b&b but for your car.

Drive.co.uk is one of them.

Can you hire out a lease car on one of these sites?

Even if your not supposed to, how would they know?

RE: leasing, check the terms of your lease agreement but i doubt they would allow it.

Do you seriously need to ask?

How would they find out? Well they might get a bit suspicious if numerous S172 notices come through for traffic offences. There is probably an insurance aspect to this too.

Plus why would you want to be risking a car you are responsible for? How would you ensure that the car was properly insured and that there wasn't a massive write off shortfall. What if you hired it to someone who didn't have proper insurance? Then you'd be permitting, also. How many worms are in that can?

I wouldn't be surprised if the Op had some kind of connection to the website they have pushed.

Edit: Checking their other posts makes me even more suspicious.

TBH, I couldn't see the sort of organised "service" the op was referring to on that website. If seen other websites touting this kind of thing but one of the first thing they tend to do is check that the "lender" of the vehicle actually owns it, so I don't see how it would work.

UPDATE - I get it know, he must be referring to https://www.drivy.co.uk/ not drive.co.uk as he posted.

At the end of the day, whether you own or lease do you want to hand over the keys to your car to a complete stranger and take on all the associated risks that go with that.

You post quite a few stupid questions, do you not think stepping away from the site and putting a little effort into improving your written English would be a better use of your time?

You are never going to be able to no,d down a good job if you cannot write as an adult is expected to, which I suppose is why you need hare brained schemes like this to keep your head above water.

Come on man, get your life in order. Have a look in the mirror, sort yourself out, and make that change.

The insurance and the like (AA break down) in undertaken by the renting company I believe.

Ok, so lets say the car is wrote off. Will you be telling the leasing company the truth or telling porkies.

It seems the O/P is some sort of fantasist who is on income support and on £20 a week is going to lease a car then rent it out

    Somewhat ironic I would say.
