Hi all.
I have a parking notice from Highview. I have read the threads and i have gone to the appeal website to copy and paste the letter to them however, Highview are asking me to select one of 2 boxes...
1. to admit i was the driver
2. to confirm i am not the driver
It wont let me get past this stage with selecting one of them.
What would your advice be please? Should i write in to them instead? I dont really want to call them in case i say something i shouldnt.
Thank you advance for your help.

Like all the parking cowboys, they are desperate to
find out who the driver was
With their limited questions, they prohibit you in
using their online portal
AS KEEPER only, you appeal by post or email
Read the Newbies thread so you can see what to do.
Search Highview on this forum.
If you post, ensure it's by first class post and get a proof
of posting from your post office, not recorded delivery0 -
Why not select option 2??
Never call a PPC!0 -
I thought about that but then i thought id be lying and also opening myself up to further questions about who was driving so didnt really want to do that if i can help it.0

Thank you - will see if i can find an email or if not post first class - should i use any of the special types of delivery? Thank you for your help :-)0 -
You will have to decide what to do yourself.
This forum wouldn't advise you to lie!
Remember the advice is to appeal as keeper and never reveal who was driving0 -

First class post only with a receipt ...... no special delivery
or recorded.
WHY, because the cowboys will often refuse special delivery
but with normal post, they might think there is a cheque inside0 -
Especially if you write on the envelope 'CHECK ENCLOSED'. :rotfl:but with normal post, they might think there is a cheque insidePlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The question DOES NOT mean you are lying, it says 'not the driver OR something else boring that I can't recall...'
This has been done to death. JUST TICK THE DARN BOX THAT DOESN'T SAY 'I WAS THE DRIVER'!!
YOU ARE NOT LYING. YOU ARE CHOOSING THE SECOND PART OF THEIR SENTENCE.
DO NOT go posting 'snail mail' to the easiest parking firm to beat in hours flat.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
