Is there a limit to how much cash you can get out on your card when buying something?

I need to deposit some funds in my bank account, I asked if I could use credit card they said no.

So I go to a supermarket and buy something cheap like an apple or something and then take out the max cash I can for free?

Is there a limit to how many times in a day somebody can do that?

Yes. Zero. You can't get cashback on credit cards.

The only retailer I heard of who used to break that rule was Wlkinsons. No idea if they still do.
  • You mean cashback in a supermarket, as opposed to cash back on purchase spending?

I've never been offered cashback when using a credit card, only a debit card.

Could you theoretically take out thousands per day as long as you buy an apple or something and you have that much credit available on your credit card?

    Or is there a limit?

You can't get cashback on a credit card - only a debit card!

Therefore the limit is zero, regardless of whether you buy an apple, or a TV.

Yes, only with a Debit Card, not a Credit Card.
