Balance Transfer Question

I have around £2500 debt on a CC (Barclaycard) and the 0% offer is due to expire in a couple of months.

I want to transfer this to a different card to get something along the lines of 26/28 months with 0% interest and keep paying my monthly payments. I see no point in paying a fee just to get another 10 months on top when i can just switch again if need be.

My question is, after using the eligibility tool to see what card I could get, is there any way of knowing how much credit I’ll be able to get ? Obviously I don’t want to apply for a card, get given a limit of say £1000 and then have to apply for another card to split the debt.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions
