Cpplus double dip

Ccplus have sent me as the registered keeper a £100 fine for overstaying in one of their locations as reported by their anpr system, having spoke with the driver I have now obtained proof the car wasn’t there when they said it was, can I have some help on how to deal with this, I read on here they may be in breach of the dpa by getting my details when the driver did nothing wrong? Also if I show them the proof they might drop it, I’d prefer to cause them more hassle and drag it out or will I get in trouble for not providing any evidence I have at the first opportunity?

As you can tell I’m new at this so any help would be greatly received

Start by sending the template appeal from the NEWBIES. Add a one liner stating you have proof the car was elsewhere at the time of the alleged event an you will provide it to them in court if they pursue this.

At the moment, don't reveal the driver's identity, but this may be to your advantage later.

Don't pm people for advice. Parking companies lurk here and have been known to send fake information.

Also if advice is open then any mistakes in the advice an be pointed out.

The pm was sent to me. I do understand the sentiment though, but I hope that I can be thought of as trustworthy by the parking regulars here. :o

Ste_nova, if you were to turn off Apple's Smart Punctuation on your iPad/iPhone/iMac your posts would be much more readable. :D

That's a given, however some aren't but essentially my point stands about peer review. It isn't always obvious who is a regular on here sadly.

The advice is do not reply to any PM if they have less
than 1000 posts, and of course think before PM'ing
someone with less than 1000 .... it makes sense

For the OP, fruitcake is the bees knees with 40,000 posts
and as safe as premium bonds . Top Chap and trustworthy
