HSBC announce five-fold increase in savings interest

That's right ladies and gentlemen, the HSBC Flexible Saver has a new rate, effective today. It's gone up to 0.05%, from 0.01%, so you'll get five times more interest than you used to get :j
Be careful though: if you have £2 million or more in the account, this will push your interest over the annual PSA threshold.
