How do I check for viruses and spyware on an iPad, please?

My card details have been stolen and used to make online purchases. I only ever use my iPad, so is it possible I could have a virus or spyware? I know it is supposed to be rare, but how do I check, please? I'm worried now about using my iPad for future purchases (with my new replacement card). Thank you.

You dont have a virus or spyware on your ipad
Be careful about what websites you give your card details to.
Make sure these websites are the real sites you intend to be using and not fakes.
Dont give your card details to anybody that CALLS YOU.

You can always factory reset your IThing and start fresh .0

I've heard it's not very likely, but is it impossible? Sorry if I sound a bit paranoid, but just worried.
The card was only 3 months old and not one I use very often. I haven't used it via chip and pin and the only websites I've used it on are supermarkets, pharmacies, Marks and Spencer, Waterstones and iTunes - all sites I've used previously over the past few years and this has never happened before. I definitely haven't spoken to anyone on the phone or clicked on any links in emails etc. so trying to rack my brains as to what else it could be, besides my iPad.

Technically - it is possible.
But for all intents and purposes it may aswell be impossible.0 -
Do you use a VPN by any chance? A friend of mine installed a dodgy one sometime ago and lost money through it.If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you! :dance:0
