Hi,
Please can someone recommend a good quality suit-case that fits the maximum requirements of RyanAir and EasyJet flights?
Main criteria:
1. Durable - I travel weekly on trains or flights
2. Size - meet the EasyJet/RyanAir/BA/KLM threshold to maximise, but not exceed capacity
3. Cost-effective, but without compromising 1. or 2.

If you are likely to pay a lot consider the smaller size 55 x 35 x 20 cm (or 21.5” x 13.5” x 7.5" inches, which could be introduced in the not too distant future.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Get an IT cabin bag. They come in various sizes depending on the style. They weigh very little empty. We've got about 4 of them. The original one is quite old. It's been to KSA, the US, umpteen to Europe, it's been on trains to London every week for weeks. It's been checked in on a few flights as well as being abused by our son on stag weekends. It cost about £25 and we've had more than our monies worth out of it. They're not quite as cheap as that now, but I wouldn't buy any other type of cabin bag.
Ryanair and KLM are both different sizes and both are smaller than BA and Easyjet, which allow the same size.0 -
I'd second an IT bag - so many different designs and ranges. I got a four wheeled hard case one recently which seems to be doing well so far (but only had about 3 months so can't comment long term). I would advise you are careful on size though, I thought it met all cabin restrictions, as generally fly easyjet and BA when flying Europe, however recently booked a Ryanair flight and realised it is 2cm too big on one length! All fine as realised before we've gone so will take alternative bag - but if you fly Ryanair a lot be aware their sizes are smaller.0
