'Brexit severance cheque'

I keep getting emails from a company called Agora finance advising me to claim for a 'Brexit severance cheque', they say it is genuine but i've got my doubts.
Has anyone heard of this or even received one?

You do sometimes. I paid money to a nice chappy in Nigeria to get hold of his late father's £20,000,000 sitting in a bank account. I did it 6 months ago but I'm sure I'll get it soon.
You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

Who in their right mind would expect them to say anything else?

I've yet to read of any get rich quick scams where the people running that scam state in their e-mails or letters that "This offer is not genuine and you are guaranteed to end up losing the money that you send to us".
