I would avoid any industry that relies solely on Government subsidy to stay in business!0

Where does it say it's "backed by the government" (of course it isn't)0 -
Banking?....
...that, plus pharmaceuticals, healthcare, transport, communications, manufacturing, agriculture.
I'm not sure about retail, but think we might just be able to exclude it from the 'avoid' list.
So what's left of the FTSE100 we can still invest in?"In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -

And meanwhile the OP posted once and hasn't been back
Maybe they are too busy spending the profit from their investment?

{text removed by MSE Forum Team}everything from carbon credits to diamonds to land now in bonds in a wind turbine {text removed by MSE Forum Team} called FRE plc.
ANY company that this Aslan character works for, run from the hills if you have any sense! He is very aggressive and clearly has not been to school before as he uses words he has no clue of the meaning and constantly babbles a string of lies. A shame that the human race produces humans like these.0 -
{text removed by MSE Forum Team} no intention to repay bond holders principle capital at all- their plan is to make a few interest payments to keep investors temporarily happy then to follow the small print t&c's and pay investors Bank of England base rate 0.5% instead of returning their initial investment. Disgusting company and ethos. Notice how the directors have a string of energy companies set up and dissolved s couple of years later- this is just the latest. Aslan Kaplan is one {text removed by MSE Forum Team}- terrible phone manner- never worked a professional day in his life- he makes Del Boy look like he went to Etonian! Stay firmly away!0
