Hi
Please can you help me?
Two separate Halifax mortgages 2000-2002 and 2002-2005.
Didn't know I had ppi with either until I rang and asked Halifax after I filled out a ppi claim form on there website.
Shocked to be told I had two pppi's, after a number of calls and rejected claims, Halifax has finally offered me £2000 for the first ppi in 2000-2002, but rejected the 2002-2005 ppi.
Should I take the £2000 and run or hold and push for the other ppi in 2002-2005.
Need your expert help
Thank you in advance

Halifax tend to rollover easily on PPI.
How strong are your complaint reasons and are they provable with evidence?

What reason have they given for refusing the second ppi?
Halifax are normally good at paying if they have the records...
I actually got them to pay 3 claims.. One back to 19860 -
Hi
Thank you for replying.
The main reason was that I was told I had to take out building insurance with Halifax otherwise they would not let me have the mortgage.
They are willing to give me £2000 for the ppi from 2000-2002.
Roughly £25 a month for a two year period.
But they have rejected my claim for the ppi from 2002-2005.
Roughly £30 a month for a 3 year period.
Still not sure if I should take the money and run?
regards

Only reason they gave me was that I would have been fully explained the details of policy at time of taking out the mortgage.0
