Faulty Laptop, what are my rights?

I purchased a custom built laptop back in March 2016 and paid by finance, within a few weeks several faults had popped up which were fairly minor and fixed by reinstalling the drivers. Within 4 months the screen had completely died on me and the system was also overheating at around 95c when idle, therefore the company took down a list of faults and it was then picked up and "repaired".
After two weeks the laptop came back to me and instantly, as soon as I plugged in headphones one of the issues was still there. After some more use, all of the problems returned other than the broken screen.
The company are telling me that all they can do is take it back again, run the same tests and it will be roughly another 2 to 3 weeks before I receive the laptop back.
As I'm sure you can imagine I'm extremely unhappy as the laptop definitely isn't fit for purpose at any level. I have no idea where I stand on this as I would love to have a refund now as they've said if the issue remains again after yet another fix all we can do is "discuss our options" which to me, doesn't sound promising.
In my opinion the laptop hasn't been satisfactory since the first fault popped up, possibly even before that considering the constantly loud fans even when doing nothing. But do I have any rights to a refund here at all because for paying such a high price, I am completely dissatisfied with the item.

Remind them that under the Consumer Rights Act (2015) you're only required to give them a single chance at a repair, after this you are entitled to a refund (a full one if it's within 6 months of purchase).
Who is the seller?0 -
Do you a source that states they only have the one attempt a repair? The seller is PC Specialist.0

Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Section 24): "(5) A consumer who has the right to a price reduction and the final right to reject may only exercise one (not both), and may only do so in one of these situations—
(a)after one repair or one replacement, the goods do not conform to the contract;"0 -
As above they have had one attempt at repair so you don't have to accept another however they are still allowed to asses the laptop to confirm the faults, the difficulty with computers is obviously that it could be software rather than hardware which may not be covered depending on exactly what the issue is0

from your OP it sounds like all the problems except the screen were fixed by reinstalling drivers.
This would point to a software issue rather than a hardware one.
Can you say what the problems are?
As for the overheating problem are you using the laptop on a flat surface so airflow is not restricted?0 -
^ This.
List some of the issues.
The thing with laptops is that many 'faults' are not really faults at all.0
