OK, my appeal has (unsurprisingly) been rejected. And the letter is well worded enough (despite mis-typing their link to see your photo evidence!) to put me on the back foot an consider crumbling. Attached is my letter rejecting my appeal. Also attached is the text from my letter of appeal on 20th April.
I'm considering a POPLA appeal based on this thread: 5133951
Serious question - what's the worst that can happen? Should I just crumble? Annoyingly, the sign really WASN'T seen (although photo evidence shows it to be close-ish to the car), and it also wasn't even me who had the luxury of a night on the beer that night!!!!
EDIT - I can't actually send you my files because I'm too much of a newbie to post links . Anyone know a workaround?
Upload the pics to a web hosting site such as tinypic or photobucket, then post the URL here but change http to hxxp and someone here will then convert it.
Do not crumble. Most first stage appeals are rejected.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Good point. You'd think I was IT-clueless!!!!!
Here's the text from my appeal: hxxps://qqq.dropbox.com/s/bhg13cvii0jvyve/appeal%20text.txt.txt?dl=0
Here's the three page reply:

hxxps://qqq.dropbox.com/s/3jjpymarkcpq3vo/27051503.JPG?dl=0
If I go down the POPLA route, my reply will be largely based on this (but I'll correct the grammar):

Obviously replace hxxps and qqq. ;-)0

your appeal to popla seems reasonable, just check you have seen the other recent popla appeals for metrolink from other members, compare them and use anything relevant, especially as its not relevant land so POFA 2012 does not apply0 -
Thanks. I'm going away for a week tomorrow so I'll think about this properly when I get back :-)0

Hi all,
I appealed as planned (I didn't let them bully me into not bothering!) and I've just been notified that my appeal was successful, basically because Care Parking couldn't be bothered to submit any 'evidence':
Reasons for the Assessor’s Determination
It is the Appellant’s case that the parking charge notice was issued
incorrectly.
The Operator has not produced a copy of the parking charge notice, nor any
evidence to show a breach of the conditions of parking occurred, nor any
evidence that shows what the conditions of parking, in fact, were.
Accordingly I have no option but to allow the appeal.

This is fantastic news. How long between sending the appeal off and getting the result? I am waiting to hear.0
