Southend Energy is provided by OVO so you get the usual good customer service. Also the council get some of the profit and will use it to fund things like help for people in fuel poverty. My switch went ok except I had been with OVO before and they accidentally used the closing readings from my old account to set up the Southend Energy account. This was fixed immediately after a quick phone call.0
