Good Morning everyone it's a lovely bright and sunny day down here and not quite so cold as it has been, washing is in the machine and will go outside to dry, lovely! We're taking the Olaf Piggy to the vets again today, he's brighter than he was but is still not eating, he's trying to, but without much success so I'm wondering if his tooth problem (spurs growing sideways) wasn't fully fixed by DDs own vet. We've got a lunchtime appointment so I'll see than. Hopefully after that Docky and I will go walking with Charlie the retreiver and his mum, if the weather stays this nice that will be very nice indeed.

I've unloaded the dishwasher & WM, sorted out tea & now I need to go & collect DGS & take him to his after school club.

They were supposed to be popping in for a cuppa, but mr tru sent them a message last night inviting them for a meal, then told me afterwards. So now it's A Thing, he's at work all day and will be home just before they arrive. I'm not sure who he thinks is going to cook, but I'm not bluddy doing it :mad: He knows I hate this sort of thing, especially when it sprung on me at the last minute and I have no choice. Vet has just phoned and we can collect Olaf at 5 o clock, he's had his teeth trimmed, is wide awake again and EATING for the first time properly in 2 weeks, happiness it would appear is a snacking pigaletto!!!0

Evening all,
Its been a lovely spring day here, went to town with OH while he went to Warfarin clinic, we then had breakfast and got lots of nice fresh fruit and veg, dropped OH home and headed to my knitting group, very small attendance this morning, one lady away at a bridge thing, think that someone else had a hospital appointment, we did have a visit from 'our'baby, who is now 7 weeks old and enjoyed being passed round for cuddles.
Dinner today was salad, steak, mash, onions and asparagus, OH found a jar somewhere and decided to use it...had 2 chocolate biscuits for pudding....all gone now, so temptation reduced.
Dumpling...hope that your day was ok, you are doing well......one hour at a time was a good suggestion.
LW....nice to see you back, you were missed.
Tru...I would kill OH if he did that, although he is such an anti social git that he would be very unlikely to even think of it!
I'm glad that vet has managed to sort Olaf's problem Lyn.
Hester, you dont seem to have slowed down any with your shorter working hours.
Csarina hope that OHs INR was ok and that your meds kick in soon.
DD4 will be here for dinner tomorrow, she has requested a stew, with lots of veg....not sure why the lots of veg as I always put lots of veg in my stews
Trying to get myself to bed by 10 so that I will wake earlier in the morning.....perhaps some of my problem is the 2 or3 hours reading after I go to bed!
