Nothing under that name on the FSA register.

    http://www.fsa.gov.uk/register/

Can you provide any more details?

I hear an alarm bell ringing. Either the house is on fire or its the "dodgy investment" alarm bell.

    * The company doesn't get a single mention on Google
    * They haven't registered assetinvestment.com
    * You titled your post "Big Profits"

After reading about ADO Finance on this board my first reaction is to say don't give them any money until you can find out a lot more about them.

My second reaction is to go and see if my house really is on fire.

There was an article this week in the financial press about asset independent financial advisors ltd this week.

Have you go the name correct?

If you have then avoid like the plague and if you do have contact, pass it onto the FSA.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.

    DD

not sure if they mean that one
    BUT
if you are talking about page 84 of FA, seems strange that the IFA firm appears to be given the all clear - surely he must had had contact with the clients under the guise of an IFA

advfn run a website where you can track shareprices etc

    https://www.advfn.com

If you sign up they regularly send out emails with titles such as 'make big profits'

No doubt they link to a page which carries the usual warnings.... stocks can go down as well as up etc

Basically it's probably an advertisement on the advfn site

Yes, ADVFN are a tiny but legitimate company listed on the AIM.

I'd be wary about promises of big profits but you can always read their advice and make your own mind up.

It doesn't sound like a scam after all.
