Ok, not exactly "vulgar", but it's still a swear word.

I don't think that the term is regarded quite as 'strong' in the Irish and American vernacular as it is with the UK English.“When the customer comes first, the customer will last”0

That's true, at least the Irish part. In Hiberno-English, use of the P, S or even F word is perfectly common and acceptable in everyday conversion - even on the radio.
In British English the same is not so acceptable, nor is it in American English.
Of course, Ryanair is an Irish company, but the profanity was present on their UK portal.0 -

nor is it in American English.
Have to disagree - I'm American and was mortified to find out that this was considered a swear word over here as I used it ALL THE TIME when I first moved here...no one ever told me...I found out in passing a few years in.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
I have to admmit, I find this absolutely disgusting, and was quite surprised when I saw it, but then the Irish have never worried too much about English sensibilities!!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
