Brilliant news! Well done Martin!! Well done to all the team too!

1st AND 2nd place is something to be very proud of.

~ I'm quite involved in a couple of challenges in the forum. I've learnt so much, saved so much and have made some fab friends. I post there every day or so, sometimes more often, whilst i probably only go to the main site once every couple of weeks unless i'm researching something like insurance or ISAs. I guess users like me help explain the difference.

And to think that, once upon a time, MSE Martin wondered whether the forum was worth continuing

Thanks for putting this site together and making it as fantastic as it is. It's really opened my eyes to how I can make my money work for me and not the banks; and I can see that it's a truely life changing and life saving place for some people.

    Well done Martin.
I can understand why the forum is so popular, whilst the information on the main site is so welcome, helpful and professionally presented, the forum adds a lighter touch where members can let off steam or have a joke with one another.

Still the fact is, overall either of them by themselves beat every other site meaning the site has now been top every year since 2006 pretty gobsmacking.
    Biblically so

well done MSE, I for one am indebted to your site, both main site and forums. The accolades are truly deserved. If everyone thought the MSE way the world would be a much better place

Take it as a compliment and a tribute to you and all at MSE towers. You and the team gave us empowerment (well I speak for myself and I am sure many others). The main site is a well presented and well thought out site, the forums allow us to "do our bit" by advising and encouraging others. When you write, you come across as taking to us (not down to us as other journalists seem to) and I feel that no matter who we are, our abilities or our circumstances, everyone can feel welcome here.

I can clearly see why the forum ranked higher than actual site.

In the MSE main site, we see news what might interest me.

In the forum, I can discuss what actually interests me. So forum is more personal.
