lloyds bank gold currant account

hi all could anyone tell me if it is a goog idear to upgrade my currant account with lloyds bank to a gold account for £10 amonth £5 for the first 6months, with annual travel insurane, aa cover, mobile phone insurance, sentinel card protection, £100 interest-free overdraft limit? i dont keep much money in this account but is it worth paying for the things thay offer?? thanks trev.

Annual worldwide insurance is about £40. You can get it free with A&L Premium Plus account (£1000 monthly credit required though, not necessarily salary, no need to keep money on the account). Plus up to £50 for online application. Plus extra £10 . This account also offers 0% overdraft for 1 year.
If you need free overdraft permanently, Cahoot offer it free.
Basic AA cover is about £40.
I do not use mobile phone insurance and card protection. Do you really need them?0 -
