    I will admit, considering two hamper catalogues and one voucher scheme has gone bust in the last 12 months, we are feeling a little less willing to pay in next year.

    Just double checked the benefits savings limits (we were originally told it was a figure in the hundreds) - it appears they've changed the rules and you can now have up to £6000 for some benefits - we'd never get that much saved, but at least we now know there is another option.

    I avoid them, think they are initially over-priced and with time and patience and the sales can find it all hell of a lot cheaper elsewhere, the idea of saving bit by bit is great but what I do is buy it in the sale when I see it and statsh it away, sometimes that can even be a surprise when it all comes out November time to see what I have accumulated I think wow didn't realise I had that much!!
    I am very much into BOGOF, haldf price sales, vouchers, discounts, etc all that makes it so much cheaper.
