Had a good weekend. set about saving well, spent most of it having fun with a few friends in similar positions.
Went to the Car boot on Sunday... bought nothing. (so saved there too)
Called Lloyds who have informedme i should know the PPI outcome tommorrow (the 28th) so fingersare crossed there may be a letter waiting for me tonight with some good news in itAwaiting PPI - Lloyds TSB LoanDebt Free Date: [STRIKE]30/10/09 02/10/09 07/08/09 [/STRIKE] 10/07/090 -

Got a reply from Lloyds offering £1714 + interest + 8%
i accepted and have since recieved the sum of £2610 :-)
My New DFD is:

hi well done on the good news re the PPI.
Just a thought reading your first post, you say paying your insurance by a lump sum and will save £80 on your DD, can i assume that you've set up a DD to a savings account so that you have the lump sum there again for next year? A few years ago i was able to pay for my car/house insurance and rescue cover on a 0% card and straight away i changed the direct debit to a savings account, was one of the best decisions i made otherwise i'd still be paying credit charges at silly percentages.0 -

Yes that is what i meant, i have now set a DD upto another account to cover all vehicle costs for the future
it feels good to be getting ontop of things finally
