If Standard Life gets the yes vote.
Will any of you be taking up the offer to buy further shares on the discounted share offer that standard life may offer to its members.
Just wondering if its worth doing if does go ahead?

and that is a big if. I think the vote may be closer than many people think. Will any of you be taking up the offer to buy further shares on the discounted share offer that standard life may offer to its members.?
Probably. I bought a few Friends Provident shares and, by an absolute fluke, managed to sell for the same as their peak value. Couldn't possibly depend on the same set of circumstances this time but, as the company will be in the FTSE100, most pension funds will have to include a %age of shares in SL PLC. Therefore, I would expect a sharp peak following flotation followed by whatever the market offers (up or down). But be warned, I'm not an expert - not even a novice to be honest, so make your own mind up.Just wondering if its worth doing if does go ahead?
If they go up, yes. If they go down, no!
