The free gift did not show up for me either in the basket. I cleared the cookies & history and then went back in, added some boots to the basket and then the Free Ugg kit was automatically added.

I just added the care kit to basket and it was £0.00 when I ordered the boots this morning :)

There was something on the forum earlier in the year about cheap Ugg type boots and the live skinning of raccoon dogs and other animals in China .. can't remember who started the post but these seem so cheap I'm very suspicious. Would be interested to hear what the fur is like inside.

Eeeek if that's the case I'd rather wear the synthetic fur Primark boots (which I wore till they fell apart last winter!).

have just had a search about and they seem kosher - Grade A sheepskin, 'Shudoo' launched the range. There are posts on here about them in 2010 when they were on offer.

Any help with sizing? I'm normally a 7 in most things..my sis is 8 in trainers and some 7s. Should we just go with the usual sizes?

Confused, as reading around, some are saying there's some "give" in them, others are saying they can be small (though I think it was referring to the shorter boots..unsure).

Can't get the Ugg Care Kit to add to basket at all :(

I may have been part of those conversations in regards to fake Ugg Australia branded uggs, and some cheaper branded boots... However... Jumbuck are fine, I imagine the reason why they are so cheap (I bought two short pairs for £40 a few years back on a glitch down from £70 each) was due to the liquidation of Shudoo.

Now, Jumbuck was Shudoo's own brand of ugg styled boots but Shudoo went into liquidation in March 2011 so this is likely the sold off excess stock.

They were made of sheepskin and not one of the cheap racoon dog imports that you may have heard about.

    I hope this helps :)

Yep, Jumbuck are an established brand. The dubious origins of some boots is more linked to cheap Chinese copies.

Most of the Jumbuck's had original retail prices of £100 and upwards.

Ordered the Long Button Chestnut boot and Tall Metallic Gold boot, thanks :T (went for our "usual" sizes, 7 and 8).

Being a cheapskate I tried and failed to find a discount code, but at these prices can't really grumble..can see RRPs for around £100 on older Jumbuck links.

My last Ugg-alikes were Nine West 9Degrees boots, and while they looked lovely on the outside (metallic studs, zip, suede), they had synthetic fur inside..not a deal-breaker, but the soles were styrofoam-y and wore away really quickly. Waste of money, even at the cheapo price I got them for. Hope the soles on these are a bit better.

The Primark Fuggs I got last year had more sturdy rubber soles and I wore them all winter, for around a fiver!
